Social Erase Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 10, 2026

Pioneerium, LLC ("Pioneerium," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Social Erase browser extension, the socialerase.net website, and related Social Erase licensing and support services.

This Privacy Policy explains what information Social Erase processes, what information may be transmitted to our services, how that information is used, and the choices available to users.

Social-Media Content Processed in the Browser

Social Erase is designed to help users review and remove selected activity from supported social-media websites. To provide those features, the extension may read and interact with webpage content that is already displayed in the user's browser.

Depending on the feature being used, this may include webpage information associated with posts, messages, photos, albums, comments, reactions, activity-log entries, group activity, Page activity, videos, or other user-selected social-media content.

This social-media content is processed in the browser so Social Erase can identify items, operate the website controls used for cleanup, and carry out actions requested by the user.

Social Erase does not transmit or store the text, images, message bodies, post contents, comments, reactions, or other social-media content on Pioneerium servers as part of the cleanup process.

License Identification

Social Erase uses a license identifier to create, verify, restore, and administer Free, complimentary, trial, or paid access.

Depending on the browser and extension version, the license identifier may be associated with the browser profile or may be a randomly generated identifier stored by the extension. The license identifier is used to recognize the applicable Social Erase license and access level.

A license identifier is not used by Social Erase to read the user's social- media password or to identify the contents of the user's social-media account.

License Verification and Usage Information

When Social Erase communicates with our licensing service, the extension may send the applicable license identifier so the service can determine whether Free, complimentary, trial, or paid access is available.

License-check and related service requests may result in records containing information such as:

  • The Social Erase license identifier
  • The current access level or license status
  • A related transaction identifier or payment status, when applicable
  • The Internet Protocol address associated with the request
  • The browser or network user-agent value
  • A derived user-agent hash used for technical and usage analysis
  • The requested licensing or service endpoint
  • The date and time of the request
  • Diagnostic, error, security, or fraud-prevention information

We use this information to verify licenses, restore purchased access, operate the service, understand extension usage, diagnose technical problems, prevent fraud or licensing abuse, and support users.

Country-based complimentary access

Social Erase may use the Internet Protocol address associated with a license request to estimate the request's country. This may be used to determine whether complimentary access is available in a country where the normal payment option is unavailable or where we otherwise choose to provide promotional access.

Website and Technical Request Information

When a user visits socialerase.net or communicates with a Social Erase service endpoint, the server may automatically receive standard technical information associated with an internet request.

This information may include:

  • The Internet Protocol address associated with the request
  • The date and time of the request
  • The requested page or endpoint
  • The browser or network user-agent value
  • The referring webpage, when supplied by the browser
  • Cookies or pseudonymous identifiers used for analytics or service operation
  • Server response, diagnostic, security, and error information

We use this information to operate, secure, troubleshoot, measure, and improve the Social Erase website and related services.

Analytics

Social Erase may use Google Analytics and related measurement tools to understand website and service usage, diagnose reliability issues, and measure the performance of Social Erase pages and licensing services.

Analytics information may include a pseudonymous client identifier, webpage or endpoint information, technical request information, and license-related identifiers or status information used to distinguish service activity. Social Erase does not send the contents of the user's Facebook messages, posts, photos, comments, reactions, or other social- media content to Google Analytics.

Payments

Paid Social Erase access may be processed by PayPal or another payment provider identified during checkout.

To associate a completed purchase with the correct Social Erase license, the applicable license identifier may be provided to the payment processor as transaction metadata.

The payment provider may provide us with information necessary to confirm, administer, refund, reverse, or support a purchase, including:

  • The Social Erase license identifier
  • A payment or transaction identifier
  • The selected product or billing plan
  • The payment amount, currency, fees, or status
  • The purchase, renewal, cancellation, refund, or reversal date, when applicable
  • The purchaser's name or email address when provided through the payment process
  • The purchaser's country or other transaction metadata supplied by the payment provider

Pioneerium does not receive or store the user's complete payment-card number.

Payment information is also governed by the privacy policy and terms of the applicable payment provider.

Support and Communications

If a user contacts Social Erase support, we may receive and retain the information the user voluntarily provides, such as an email address, license identifier, transaction information, screenshots, diagnostic details, or the contents of the support request.

We use support information to respond to the request, troubleshoot a problem, administer a purchase, restore access, investigate abuse, or communicate important service information.

How We Use Information

We use the information described in this Privacy Policy only to:

  • Provide the Social Erase functionality requested by the user
  • Create, verify, administer, and restore licenses
  • Determine whether Free, complimentary, trial, or paid access is available
  • Determine country-based complimentary access when offered
  • Confirm, administer, refund, or support purchases
  • Measure service usage and reliability
  • Operate, maintain, and secure our services
  • Investigate fraud, licensing abuse, errors, or security problems
  • Provide support requested by users
  • Communicate important license, product, or service information
  • Maintain required transaction and accounting records
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations

We do not use Social Erase license identifiers or social-media content to create personalized advertising profiles.

We do not sell user information.

How Information Is Shared

We may disclose information only in circumstances such as the following:

  • With hosting, infrastructure, database, security, analytics, email, payment, or technical service providers that process information on our behalf
  • With PayPal or another identified payment provider when a user voluntarily purchases paid access
  • With Google when Google Analytics or other Google-provided browser or measurement functionality is used
  • When required by law, court order, subpoena, or other valid legal process
  • When reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, abuse, security threats, or violations of applicable terms
  • When reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety, property, or security of users, Pioneerium, or others
  • As part of a merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing, or sale of business assets, subject to applicable legal requirements

We do not share the contents of Facebook messages, posts, photos, comments, reactions, or other social-media content with advertising networks, data brokers, or information resellers.

Data Retention

License identifiers and associated licensing records may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide and restore access, administer purchases, maintain transaction records, prevent fraud or licensing abuse, resolve support requests, and comply with legal obligations.

Raw Social Erase usage-event records are generally configured to be removed after approximately 18 months. Aggregate usage records, license records, payment records, security records, accounting records, and support records may be retained longer when reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy.

Standard web-server, diagnostic, and security logs may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary for service operation, troubleshooting, security, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.

Uninstalling Social Erase does not automatically delete licensing, transaction, analytics, security, or support records already stored on our servers or by applicable service providers.

Access, Correction, and Deletion Requests

Users may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of licensing information associated with their Social Erase license identifier, subject to applicable law and legitimate retention needs.

A request should include the license identifier displayed by Social Erase so that we can locate the applicable record. If the request concerns a purchase, transaction information may also be needed to locate or verify the record.

We may need to verify that the person making a request is authorized to access or modify the applicable record.

Deleting a licensing record may prevent us from verifying or restoring access associated with that license. Some transaction, accounting, security, fraud-prevention, or legal records may be retained when required or reasonably necessary.

Security

Social Erase licensing and website communications use encrypted HTTPS connections.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect licensing, payment-related, support, and service information.

However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Children's Privacy

Social Erase is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through Social Erase.

If we learn that personal information has been collected from a child under 13 without appropriate authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

Chrome Web Store Limited Use

Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will comply with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when Social Erase, our data practices, service providers, or legal obligations change.

The revised Privacy Policy will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.

When required, material changes may also be disclosed through Social Erase, the Social Erase website, or another prominent notice.
